Another day to remind you that a person with 300K sleeping in a SACCO for 12 months will receive 27k (after tax) this January and will cry loudly that the government is taking long to release the salaries.

If the same guy had the same guy would have bought a poshomill for business, he would have earned the 27k this January only!

If the teacher set up a kibanda in a nearby shopping centre and employed a jobless mama to be vending veges at a pay, he would have earned 6k per month times 12 months, totalling 72K in a year.

If he had bought a second-hand tuk-tuk and handed it out for business, he would have earned 6k per month times 12 months, which would have been a total of 72K after 12 months.

But you know what?

The person is a teacher, and teachers fear putting up businesses because they fear their money will be stolen by workers who are "thieves" or their businesses will collapse.

What the same teachers forget is that any person using your 300k everyday to give you 2500 shillings per month and goes ahead to tell you that you must give them notice of 3 months if you want to withdraw your money is not even a thief...That's a Robber.

As a 21st-century teacher, don't be carried away by the notion of dividends and put all your money in such schemes.

Dividends are like painkillers, they are there to relieve your pain but can't cure the real disease.

Don't be a slave to painkillers.

Get up and look for actual cure.
